Heather Mason: Study No.2 by ~vee209. From the suggester: "The painting is really done quite well. I like how the brush volumes are expressing the light. the facial expression as well is just great with classic color palette but yet the use of brush makes it full of modern contemporary freedom." (

I think you've beautifully captured the feel of Silent Hill by the use of brush strokes which mirror the way that the environment in Silent Hill is so often itself painted in daubs and smears of corruption - blood and rust, as SH4 puts it (One eentsy criticism if I may: Cheryl MASON was living under the assumed name of Heather MORRIS).
I was browsing, and caught sight of this hiding down in the daily Deviations. It's absolutely beautiful. You caught the expression perfectly-Sort of hopeless terror. The way it was painted also makes it seem slightly hazy, and dream-like;which is a perfect effect for Heather. I love the background too.Just strokes of color, but they fit the gritty, grotesque Silent Hill palette.
